All about…my herbal medicine studies and qualifications:

I studied for four years at Betonica School of Herbal Medicine completing over 500 hours of clinical practice both in person and online.

I graduated in June 2025 from the professional medical herbalist programme earning a Diploma in Herbal Medicine with a distinction.

The Betonica course is accredited by the National Institute of Herbal Medicine (NIMH) the UK’s leading (and oldest) professional body of herbal practitioners.

I am a member of NIMH adhering to their professional standards and requirements for continued professional development – ensuring I continue my learning as I develop my professional career as a medical herbalist.

I have full professional, public and product liability insurance with Balens Insurance

My final year research project was a scoping review (reviewing the research literature for validity, identifying gaps in the research and suggesting areas for further research) on herbal medicine and sarcopenia (aged-related muscle loss).

On graduation I also achieved the following awards: Highest Grade Diploma Student and Highest Graded Final Clinical Exam.
